We were approached by SanParks to make a wall hanging and ottomans that would furnish several overnight huts on the magnificent Hoerikwaggo hiking trail that spans Table Mountain to Cape Point. Inspired by the flora and fauna of the Table Mountain Nature Reserve, we created 15 ottomans depicting various flowers and animals that hikers were likely to encounter on their walks in the reserve. The wall hanging celebrated Cape Town’s rich cultural diversity and depicted faces of the different people that make up our city.
